The Joint - BBQ Since 2004, Pete and Jenny Breen have been gettin it did on Poland Avenue in the Bywater and in 2006 opened another operation in Uptown New Orleans on Magazine Street. In early 2007, the Uptown location suffered damage due to a fire in the apartment above the store. The Uptown location is no longer in operation. However, the smoker is still kickin down in the Bywater. So, come check out "a fabulous, authentic barbecue spot". The Joint serves up the juiciest of slow cooked pulled pork and beef brisket, chicken and ribs as well as a host of sides and fixins.
